Introduction to Visual Acuity Testing and Vision Screening

This online course is designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills required to conduct basic visual acuity checks and vision screenings. It covers fundamental eye anatomy, common vision disorders, tools and techniques used in screenings, and essential professional practices. The course includes interactive elements such as quizzes, visual aids, and video tutorials to enhance learning. By the end of the course, volunteers will be able to confidently screen patients, interpret results, and understand when to refer individuals for further examination.
