How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your VIbe account at any time directly within the mobile application by following these steps:

1. Open the VIbe app.

2. Go to your Profile.

3. Select Settings.

4. Choose Delete Account.

5. Confirm when prompted.

Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted in accordance with the data retention policy below.

Data Deletion Process

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

• Your user profile, including name, email address, and any profile details.

• All posts, comments, messages, and activity associated with your account.

• Uploaded media such as photos, videos, and documents.

• Any participation records within the VIbe platform.

Once the deletion process is complete, you will no longer have access to the account, and your profile will not be visible to other users.

Data Retention

After an account deletion request, VIbe retains limited non-personal data for up to 30 days to ensure system integrity and comply with legal obligations. This may include:

• Security and access logs for fraud prevention and auditing purposes.

• Transaction or consent records required under applicable laws and regulations.

After this retention period, all remaining data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems.

How to Request Data Deletion

All user data within VIbe is automatically deleted when an account is deleted.
If you wish to initiate this process manually, please follow the steps below:

1. Open the VIbe app.

2. Navigate to your Profile.

3. Select Settings.

4. Tap Delete Account.

5. Confirm the deletion request.

Once confirmed, the account and all related personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems in accordance with the details below.

If you are unable to access your account and need assistance, you may contact our support team at info@volunteersinc.org to request deletion of your data. We will verify your identity before processing the request.

Data Deleted Upon Account Deletion

The following information is permanently deleted from our servers once a deletion request is confirmed:

• User profile information (name, email address, contact details, and profile image).

• All social activity including posts, comments, messages, and reactions.

• Uploaded media such as images, videos, and attachments.

• Opportunity participation history, badges, or achievements linked to the user account.

This process ensures that no personally identifiable information remains accessible within the VIbe platform.

Data Retained After Deletion

To maintain platform integrity and meet legal requirements, VIbe may retain limited non-personal information for up to 30 days following account deletion. This may include:

• Security and system logs used for fraud prevention and abuse monitoring.

• Transaction or consent records required for compliance and auditing purposes.

All retained data is stored securely and permanently deleted after the retention period expires.
